Is saying I Love you, a sexual Harassment

Is saying I love you,
Sexual Harassment

Is saying I Love you, a sexual Harassment.
Let's assume in a college, all genders are studying on the same college campus. Both boys and girls are attending the classes together, and meeting and speaking with each other in the laboratory session, in the library, and there are more chances of making friends among girls and boys.

Is saying I love you to a girl punishable in the Indian court of law?

Every son will like their mother.  What's wrong with saying I love you, mom to his mother? Is it punishable?

There is a difference between Like and Love.

But the intention will be different.

Along with I love you, are there any words or acts that, if a boy says or does along with the saying, I love you to a girl, should be noted?

If a boy says I love you, to a girl, is it an offence of sexual Harassment?

Is expressing the feeling of love in words an offence? The word love has different dimensions that depend on who they are saying and with what intentions a person says it to that person.

Most of the teenagers who are studying in the college have hormonal changes process in their age groups who are in the transition to adulthood and some chemical changes that are natural for the adulthood are one of the causes for opposite gender attraction towards their gender that maybe some feelings or emotional changes that causes the teenagers to do some trial and errors in their adulthood towards the opposite gender attraction.

Expressing their feelings by words is normal in adulthood if it is within the limits. If the limit is crossed, it may lead to some offence by verbal or physical action.

It's the duty of the parents and the teachers to mould the attitude and behaviour of a student or a person in the right direction by explaining the good and the bad.

One of the famous high court in India, I think that is Bombay high court, noted that merely saying ‘I Love you’ without any sexual intent, not accompanied with words or acts reflecting ‘sexual intent’ is not sexual Harassment, if said ‘I Love you’ to the minor girl, while she was walking from the tuition classes to her home.
