Tokyo 2020 Olympics - Neeraj Chopra, a world champion in the javelin throw

              Neeraj Chopra, an Indian athlete to win the U-20 world championship in the javelin throw. A golden Boy holding the tricolor flag had won gold in the javelin throw at the Tokyo Olympics 2020 on Saturday 7/08/2021. As an Indian, he won a gold medal for the country and never forgotten to protect the nation by his service in the Indian Army.


           Chopra representing India, from Haryana, was a very mischievous boy at the age of 12. The Panipat sports authority of India center is his unforgotten memory where a javelin thrower had recognized his talent at the javelin throw without any sports training. So, Jaiveer Singh, his master observed his talent of achieving a 40-meter throw without training, and Chopra's skill in the javelin throw had impressed him and Jaiveer began coaching him.

           As a Junior Commissioned officer in the Indian Army, he has brought a golden victory at the Tokyo Olympic 2020 by performing like a true Indian soldier. A subedar in the Indian Army and a world champion in the Javelin throw at Olympic 2020 has made India proud and the Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has said that many congratulated him for his victory.

              In the year 2016, he marked the history and won the junior world title in the javelin throw and became the first Indian to win Gold. The first Indian to have won gold at the commonwealth games and the Asian Games in the year 2018.


           A tremendous "WILL" power has made him broke the national record in 2021 with a throw of 88m; before rehabilitation and practicing in 2019, Neeraj Chopra went through an elbow surgery.

          A farmer's son and an Indian soldier who is a hero in his sports game had made India proud, once again.
