Partnership between US and India to fight against covid19 crisis 2020

                   The United States of America is the oldest democracy and India is the largest democracy in the world. The relationship between US and India continues as long decades. Many US company products are produced in India and many products are exported to the US from India.
              On March 2020 US aided 2.9 million dollars to India to fight against coronavirus pandemic. On April the US aided an additional 3 million dollars to India. These are the financial aid supported by the government of the United States of America to the Indian Government to fight a war against the coronavirus.


             Today on 20 May 2020, the US government has announced that it will donate 200 ventilators to India for the covid19 cases in India. The US government says the first batch of 50 ventilators will arrive soon to India. The ventilators are the life-saving machine which saves the life in critical condition when the function of the lung decreases.

            In the early spread of coronavirus in India, the Indian government had banned the export of the malarial drug Hydroxychloroquine which was used for the covid19 cases and also it is used as the preventive medicine to the coronavirus. But the efficacy of the Hydroxychloroquine drug is not proved against the treatment of the coronavirus.

            On April 2020, the US government has requested India to lift the ban to export the drug Hydroxychloroquine. At first, India hesitated to lift the ban as the supply deficit will occur in the country. When the US President Donald Trump made tension on this issue, the Indian government had lifted the ban of exporting the drug hydroxychloroquine. 

           The US government has not only helped India but it has given hands to many countries to fight against the spread and control of the coronavirus. The Ford car company has fixed a target to produce 100000 ventilators within 100 days and hand over to the US government. 

            Many vaccines developing companies in the US have made an agreement with Indian companies in developing a vaccine against the coronavirus. Still the vaccine made are in the trial phase and in the US the vaccine are tested in the human trial.


            So India and US have a decades friendship and ties in many sectors. LET FIGHT THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC TOGETHER.
