Tamilnadu budget |
The Tamilnadu state budget was announced for the year 2020 in the assembly. The budget has a deficit of nearly 21,000 crores. Every Tamil person has a debt of rupees 57,000 on their head.
The main revenue of the government is from the Tasmac and the taxes collected from petrol and diesel sales.
The chief minister has said that 50% of the revenue of the government goes to the salary paid to the government employees.
The other 50% is only spent on infrastructure development and other welfare schemes for the people.
Is this really good for the country to run on the revenue that comes from the Tasmac? The government had banned the country's liquor which is produced from the palm and coconut tree. It, directly and indirectly, affects the economy of the local farmers.
Every citizen should think of it and ask the politician to work for the welfare of the native people and not for the corporations and the foreign brokers.
