Know about foodborne diseases

           
                      Infectious agents which are capable of spreading diseases through food and water are the major burden for food and food processing industries.

             Some common symptoms of certain foodborne diseases are a sensation to vomit, vomiting, diarrhoea and so on. Most of the bacterial agents can multiply and survive, if the food is improperly cooked.

             The chain link for the foodborne diseases is growers > processors > food workers and finally the consumer groups. There is more risk of spreading infection through infected eggs or poultry. Some foods which play a major role in spreading diseases are chilled vegetables, ground beef, poultry meat, milk, smoked fish,etc.,
